The following list is for Megilah reading times in Silver Spring (and possibly nearby areas if people send them in). The times are for Purim 5777 – March 11, 2017 (night) and March 12, 2017 (day). Please submit additional times/locations (and corrections if anything is incorrect) via email to purim@jewishsilverspring.org. Please submit only publicly available readings – e.g., if a reading is planned for a private home and is only for family or a few close neighbors, please do not submit it here.

Purim Night
This year Purim is on Motzei Shabbos. Shabbos ends at 6:51pm. Some Megillah readings are immediately following Maariv. There are many Megillah readings that start 30 – 50 minutes later so that people can get into costume and drive (or walk) to the Megillah reading.
